The Office of Early Intervention (EI) provides evidence-based coaching supports & services to infants/toddlers (birth to age 3) and their families when children are experiencing a developmental delay or have a diagnosis that results in developmental delay. The supports and services are at no cost to eligible infants, toddlers, and their families. The Office of Early Intervention is part of a statewide Early Intervention system under the direction of the state Bureau of Early Intervention, Office of Child Development and Early Learning. Lisa Lightener is a special education advocate and provides many lists of IEP goals, IEP accommodations, IEP strategies and supports, and 504 accommodations and modify them to meet your child’s needs. She has IEP goal and accommodation ideas for just about everything! She also offers loads of information to help you prepare for your IEP meeting.
Understood.org has an extensive library of fact sheets on many common differences and topics including ADHD, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia (DCD), Dyslexia, Written Expression Disorder, Sensory & Slow Processing Issues, IDEA, ADA and more.
Parent Handouts are the backbone of the CAP4Kids project. They are broken down by category and and subcategories. Within each handout, you will find a description of the social service agency, their address, and a phone number. You may also find a link to the agencies web site that you can access and learn more about that agency.
