The Social Enrichment Center was founded to support individuals, families, schools, and community organizations. Our objective is to build the self-confidence and social connectedness of children, adolescents, and young adults. SEC provides direct care to young people, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic and instructional strategies. Further, our team equips caregivers with developmentally appropriate skills and strategies to build each client’s social
competencies.

In addition to socially and behaviorally-focused dyads and group therapies,
we offer individual psychotherapy and individual social skills therapy, as well as several related services on-site, at schools, and in the home. SEC also regularly contracts with neighboring school districts to provide services for students throughout the year.

Therapy sessions are available in group or individual format for clients aged 2-25. We are contracted with a Speech and Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist who provides these services on-site. We also offer Psychotherapy services.

Our Group Programming Includes:

* Young Adult Transitions
* Back to School Readiness
* Executive Functioning for Teens
* Extended School Year (ESY) for ages 2-21

clients’ strengths and needs for improvement. Age-appropriate programming is offered to

Testimonials

“The Social Enrichment Center has changed our
lives! Our son has a hard time communicating
and making friendships that are meaningful.
Since going to the SEC, he has started making
plans and going out with friends. That may not
sound like much, but it's a huge
accomplishment in our eyes. The counselors are
wonderful and so engaged. They respond very
quickly and answer questions and concerns.
Thanks SEC!”

"We have been a part of the SEC family for the past 7 years! Both our boys look forward to going every week. They have grown significantly during their time with the SEC staff. The staff even comes into our home to observe and work through some challenging behaviors. The strategies they have provided are not only effective, but reflect how well they know our boys. We highly, highly recommend.”
