Hello! I'm Lisa Ann Finley, a Holistic NeuroGrowth Learning and Life Success Coaching helping tweens and teens become confident, independent, life long learners in math, science, executive functions and mindset.

I am not a tutor in the traditional sense, nor am I simply a teacher. I serve as a coach, guiding students in finding their own pathways, instilling independence and self-reliance. My approach empowers students to become confident, capable, and self-sufficient learners who can tackle their academic challenges with confidence and autonomy.

I'm here to offer my expertise as both a mother and an experienced educator. Growing up, I was that kid who sat in class, aware of my intelligence yet puzzled by the extra effort required to grasp certain concepts. This personal experience fuels my passion for empowering students. I believe in providing personalized support and guidance tailored to each child's unique needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.

At Pathways to Potential, I work individually with students to identify the root causes of their struggles and create customized, individualized plans to help them reach their full potential. I also work with tweens and teens in small group life coaching sessions. Whether your child needs support with study skills, executive functions, math, science, or any other aspect of their education, I'm here to provide the personalized guidance and support they need to succeed.

Testimonials

"I've never met a grown up who gets me, she does!"
-Ella grade 7

"Before Lisa Ann, our evenings were often filled with battles to get homework completed, leading to heightened stress levels in our home. Thanks to Lisa Ann’s guidance, those nightly fights are now a thing of the past. Our household has seen a remarkable reduction in stress, and we have witnessed our child grow into an independent learner."

-Greg, father of a 7th grader

"I have struggled to learn how my brain works and how I learn best, that is until I had you. Before I thought that me not being able to pay attention was because there was something wrong with me. After working with you I learned that everyone's brain works differently. You taught me that just because I don't learn like my friends doesn't mean I'm any less smart. I know I won't forget what I learned from you."

-Stella, 7th grade

"Lisa Ann was incredibly easy to work with. She was very flexible, both in scheduling, as well as in shifting her approach with my son depending on his level of engagement and attention. I could tell that the work that Lisa Ann did with my son in math really helped to build his confidence. And it also gave him new strategies to add to his "toolbox" for when he is confronted with a problem that he does not know how to approach."

-Anneashley, mother of a 5th grader

"Working with Lisa Ann has been an absolute game-changer for our family. Our gifted child, who has been struggling in school due to ADHD and anxiety, has found a true ally in Lisa Ann. Her ability to help him create, implement, and manage effective systems has not only improved his academic performance but has also transformed our relationship with him."

-Meredith, mother of an 8th grader
