"I help individuals and parents go from feeling unsuccessful and frustrated to feeling calm and in control in order to communicate effectively with peers, coworkers and family."

With over two decades of success teaching neurodivergent teens and young adults social communication skills, Tara has become the authority in transforming the lives of numerous Chester County individuals and families.

Social Skills Coaching
As a coach, Tara will meet your child where they are in order to focus on progress only, not comparisons. Tara is an expert in social communication and will deliver the concepts, tools and strategies necessary to help your child become comfortable in their own skin and confident in their understanding of the world around them. She will teach your child how to comprehend social nuances and how to adjust behavior without losing their uniqueness or personality. Your child will gain confidence and acceptance and learn to make target decisions in the moment.

Parent Coaching
As a parenting resource, Tara is here to help parents/guardians gain confidence in communicating with their child on a deeper level. Her goal is to equip parents with the tools they need to foster their child's social and emotional development, leading to their ultimate success. She understands the importance of active participation in a child's life, and by imparting knowledge and instilling confidence in parents, we can eliminate stress and feelings of helplessness. This will ultimately lead to a happier, more fulfilling life for both parent and child. Every child deserves the opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency, confidence, and success, and Tara is honored to assist in making that a reality.

Testimonials

"My young adult son has been a client of Tara's for 8 years. She has worked one on one with him on all things related to Social Thinking for individuals on the spectrum, or neurodivergent populations. As a family, we have also benefitted from Tara's teachings, understanding how his brain works, what is the best way to support him. The growth he has experienced is invaluable. He feels empowered knowing how to navigate life, as Social Thinking is embedded in everything."

-Cheryl F.

"Learning with 2 Be Social has been such an amazing learning experience. I was reluctant to try it at first because I thought it was going to be about social skills, which I have tried in the past and has never worked for me."
